Picking out a headset if my opinion is very important. Especially if your someone like me who sits in front of a computer in their free times playing games, editing, or just listening to music. After 2 years I finally felt that it was time for an upgrade and I decided to go with Corsair’s VOID.
The specs on this headset are something that I felt was right for me. As much as I game, play with my friends, and stream I felt that the build quality and the sound quality was a winner.

- 40 feet in wireless range
- Up to 16 hours of use.
I have been using them constantly for about a month straight and I am very impressed with how they are holding up with all the use I have put into it. The frame of the headset seems to be made out of very strong aluminum except for the ear pads. The build around the ear pads is made out of plastic but the ear pads are very comfortable.
If I had to really get picky with the VOID itself that 16 doesn’t feel that long. The amount of time I game and stream definitely does drain the battery pretty fast. But I have to thank you to Corsair because charging the headset does not take that long. It is also good to see that you can track the battery percentage on the iCue software.
If you are looking for sound proof headset than this might be a buy for you. It may not have Noise Cancelling technology but I can barely hear what is going around me whenever I am in a game. I have 2 daughter and as loud as they are throughout the day, I hardly even could tell they were near me. The quality of the sound if very good. I listen to a lot of music throughout the day. The bass is lacking but it is not the end of the world.
The Corsair VOID has been the headset for the me and I would buy it all over again if I had the option too. Everything about it for the most part is a win and has definitely helped me in my FPS games whenever trying to hear for the enemy. If you are looking for a headset to upgrade too than I would recommend this product for gamers and music listeners alike.
