After the release of “Como Tú” and “Dime El Plan,” Mexican artist Alexia Mariel has released her debut EP, “Like Me,” highlighting the aptly titled focus track “Like Me.” This four-track EP includes her previous two releases, “Como Tú” and “Dime El Plan,” along with the never before heard songs “Amen” and co-titled track “Like Me,” which released alongside the official music video, offering a glimpse into Alexia’s distinctive style and musical talent.

Directed by Leonardo David Maya Rojina “Taquitos,” the music video for “Like Me” gives viewers a distinct look into Alexia’s personality. In the music video for “Like Me,” viewers are able to see a more energetic side of Alexia we had yet to see. At the center of the gleaming night sky, Alexia and her crew of background dancers are performing action-packed choreography that perfectly captures the elements of this powerful upbeat track. Dressed in all-black attire accentuated by a striking red lip, Alexia emerges in a new light, exuding boldness, resilience and an unapologetic confidence to soar above any challenge and conquer whatever comes her way.
The music video for “Amen” is set to release on Friday, April 19 and will feature Alexia embodying a newfound sense of liberation, joy and a carefree attitude.
Inspired by her love for pop and K-pop, Alexia Mariel began building her platform on YouTube and TikTok with covers and self-written Spanish adaptations of big hits by some of today’s biggests artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Conan Gray, Madison Beer, BLACKPINK and more. Mariel acquired several viral videos which ultimately led to her signing with Selective Hearing in January of 2023. Mariel kicked off the year opening for Venezuelan superstar Lasso in Guadalajara, Mexico with a performance of her song “COMO TÚ” and graced the stage at a SXSW showcase in Austin, Texas. With over 11.5k monthly Spotify listeners, 419.4k TikTok followers and several viral videos, Alexia Mariel is destined to become Mexico’s new star.
