Nickelodeon is back with their fun and adventurous racing game titled Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix. You can choose from a cast of Nickelodeon stars to be your driver as you race against other stars in order to be number 1. You race throughout various Nickelodeon shows arenas as you battle your way to a top finish. You can get weapons such as farts, log throw, or even a beach ball to knock your opponents down for a second. Then there are powerups such as a bottle of soda that will give you the edge you need to climb to a victory.

Today, we had the opportunity to check this game out on our Xbox One console and get our drive on with Kart Racers 2. I was Spongebob throughout the races as I felt only him can justify myself either winning or losing throughout the game. I have to say, this game is a blast!

Pro:

• Customization of Vehicle
  • I enjoy customizing the vehicle with different engine, wheels, color and exhaust pipes. Once you win a track stages, you are gifted with new and more upgraded parts. I would see which part would excel with my vehicle and character.
• Nickelodeon Characters
  • Just being able to have the characters from the shows I grew up watching as drivers for the game is awesome. I like to use Spongebob but they do have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hey Arnold cast, Rug Rats cast, Avatar, Cat Dog and much more to use.
• Stages
  • The racing stages you participate in are various sets are from the shows on Nickelodeon. The stages include House of Catdog, Glove Universe, Hillwood Rally, Double Dare Obstacle Course, and many more. You feel like your traversing through the Nickelodeon universe in this game.
• Modes
  • You of course want to play in the Slime Grand Prix to unlock those drivers, parts, and much more. There are more modes to check out including Free Race, Challenges, Time Trials, and Arena. I enjoy Arena its a free for all battle against other characters.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix brings out that flavor that you pour on a food dish. You have seen different racing games before but Nickelodeon pours on the heat to satisfy the urges for any fan. You are given choices to race online, multiplayer or even as a single player to earn trophies, new drivers, new vehicles, and much more. The fun you have here will transcend to not only as a single player but to multiplayer with friends coming over or with friends online. Be sure to snap your fingers, drink some soda and go ahead and play this game. You will transported to a fun battle lodge land where you will feel right at home.
