Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood Game Review

Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood game by Headup Games we follow Scarlet. An up-and-coming singer trying to make it with her band. The band is heading to play a gig that could change their lives. Scarlet life will change this night for sure. The record label rep only wants her and not the band she has been given a recording deal and a choice. Things take a turn fast when she is confronted by the band and they find out the deal. On a not-so-friendly ride back home the bus is hit by a storm and Scarlet is not in the same place anymore.

She finds herself in a cave and starts he journey in the game as the Red witch and a new story to help her newfound friends and get herself back to her Kentucky.  She must take the red witch’s mantle to fight what’s coming.

A heavy story-based game filled with a ton of puzzles and more. Seven lives to use in the game you must learn and pay attention to everything around you to solve the puzzles. The story is a fun tail and gameplay is fun. I am going to try to see the multiple endings to her story. The puzzles are for the most part not too hard if you read the signs the game has for you to see. I got into the game as it is fun working with the munchkins and their banter between them and Scarlet.

I give this game a 7.5 out of 10 it is a fun game for me story was a fun story. The gameplay is not hard and the graphics are nice and smooth. Story base and puzzle-based game lovers this is a must-play. The game is out now on Steam so check it out and have some fun playing it.
