San Japan arrives in San Antonio on September 2nd to 4th! Many fans are excited the yearly event returns with a huge list of musicians, vendors and of course the atmosphere of Japan to San Antonio. We will be heading out there this weekend as media for San Japan and are excited to see what they have to offer for 2022!
What To See:
Gaming oh gaming! I know Shenanigans Gaming as well as Texas Gaming Empire are both bringing a ton of gaming tournaments to San Japan! Be sure to register when you get there early! I know a ton of people will venture out there to both gaming sections to compete against others and ranked players as well. This should provide gamers with an an amazing atmosphere and competition as well!
San Japan is also showcasing the Bitforce Jamspace where there will be a TON of exciting musicians performing at the venue. We are excited a few of our favorites will be attending including DJ Illlkat, Gross Angel, DJ R.O.C.K.M.A.N., and namesake Bitforce. We are also excited to check out musicians for the first time in our glorious ears such as Shubzilla X Bill Beats, Lacey Johnson, Love Notes and many more!
San Japan will also have a ton of vendors that will have items for sale that are anime and manga. I know there are a few plushies we will be looking for as well as some art from the amazing artists that come to San Japan! Be sure to check them all out as well!
After party alert! Our friends at the Greater Gaming Society of San Antonio will be hosting an after party at The Cherrity Bar downtown San Antonio on September 3rd!! What I need to know:
Covid 19 Protocols: Each person attending San Japan will need to make sure they show there vaccination card from the last two weeks or a negative test from the past 48 hours to attend San Japan. You also must wear a mask during the convention as well! They will remove you from the convention center if you don’t wear a mask.
