MONOLITH Review

MONOLITH is a film directed by Matt Vesely and starring Lilly Sullivan. A film about a podcaster trying to find the truth about some bricks as they are called. She gets a scoop on a story about some unknown items called bricks and she is on the trail to find out all she can. She does not remember being tied to these mysterious bricks. She calls a woman who had an encounter with these bricks and she does not want to talk about it till she presses her into talking.

these bricks are tied to health issues and the more she uncovers the truth, the more she is sent a box with no address with a thumb drive with her birthday party on when she was a child talking about a brick. Things start to connect and she now is ill and about to get a shocking realization as well things are about to change forever.

A very creepy story from the start and it does not let up. The backstories to tie everything together were done so well. The unknown is used masterfully in the story telling. The fan of sci-fi to detective dramas will love this one. I give this one a 7 out of 10 for nailing the story very well and Lilly’s portrayal of the Interviewer was perfect in my book. Check this one out now and see what are the bricks.
