Pittsburgh, PA– March 31, 2022– Solo Indie development studio Mattrified Games is releasing a fast-paced, 2.5D merfolk-themed game, MerFight: Curse of the Arctic Prince on Steam Early Access today.
MerFight: Curse of the Arctic Prince is a fighting game with an emphasis on flexibility and leniency with a cast all based on different types of aquatic life — angler fish, sharks, the Yellowtail Fang Blenny.
For lovers of merfolk and fighting games, MerFight: Curse of the Arctic Prince features 12 playable characters, various in-game tutorials, and with more coming soon such as a branching story mode.
MerFight: Curse of the Arctic Prince was originally funded by more than 80 backers on Kickstarter in 2021, and has a demo available on itch.io or GameJolt.
