Love Life Season 2 Review

Love Life Season 2 from the creator Sam Boyd starring William Jackson Harper and Jessica Williams in season 2 of Love Life. This season we follow Marcus in his quest for true love. This time we start with a married man who finds himself in a love marriage and a chance meeting at Darby’s wedding meets the woman who may be his true love. We follow him from that night to all the heartbreak and one-night stands to failed relationships. Marcus will also have to find his place in the world and overcome his past traumas to become the man he is meant to be.

His job and work life play a huge role in finding himself and standing up to his boss. Just like Darby in season one we get to see his ups and downs as he grows and finds that connection he is looking for. His best friends too play a huge role in his life he too will face some drama in the form of broken bro code. He will find his greatest heartbreak in Mia that woman he met at Darby’s wedding. Just she will play a huge role in his life as she is the one. Marcus finds everything he is looking for in her just it takes them both a few tries to realize they are meant for each other.

The second season follows the man’s side of things and makes for a more relatable show. Overall a good story and I like how they tied Darby into season 2. I give this one a 6 out of 10 Willian Jackson Harper did an amazing job bringing Marcus to life. He faced more than job and love issues and all were done very well. A great follow-up to season 1 and the tie-into first season. A fun watch in my book looking forward to seeing what comes next in the series. Season 2 is out now on digital.
