Big George Foreman Review

Big George Foreman is the story of legendary boxer George Foreman. Directed by George Tillman Jr. starring Khris Davis, and Jasmine Mathews. In a film looking into George’s life and his start in the boxing world that he took by storm. His humble beginnings to his rise as Heavy Weight Champion of the world. Also, his found faith in God leaving the boxing world behind him.

He worked hard to take his family out of poverty and make a life he only dreamed of as a child. It was not an easy road for him by no means and this film gives an authentic look into his life. He left it all behind to follow God and open his own church in Houston, Texas. After opening a youth center to help the youth he finds out his long-time friend and accountant lost him all his money. George must find a way to pay his bills and provide for his family he starts to do TV commercials and makes the decision to get back in the ring.

Not knowing it would take him back to the top twenty years later and set him back up on top. As a fan of George, this film was a true knockout from the start. The look into his life and his struggles one sees how hard he worked to make it as one of Boxing’s greats. I give this one an 8 out of 10 for a great real-life story and deep dive into his life.
