Aporia Review

Aporia is a film directed by Jared Moshe starring Judy Greer and Edi Gathegi. Sophie has to learn to live without her husband and father of her daughter. Dealing with so much she is falling apart but must maintain for her daughter who is having a hard time dealing. As her world keeps crumbling she finds out her husband and his best friend were hiding a secret.

She dealing with her loss and seeing their daughter holding on bit strings. She and her husband friend make a move that no one would believe. No knowing the out come and the dangers they try to change time with the project they were working on. Not know if it would even work they took a leap of faith. Just they are not prepared of what is to come and the effects their actions will have on them and those around them. A moral dilemma is about to unfolded and their actions may not be able to be undone.

A good film overall the story is engaging as one can relate to it anyone who has lost a loved one can connect. I give this one a 6 out of 10 a good story but a bit slow and drawn out. A bit far fetched but on one can say they wouldn’t have done the same. The ending was a bit weak and almost just ends to end almost like they didn’t know how to finish the story. The story will pull at the heart as you feel for them dealing with the lost. Give the film legs to stand on and hold the film. Check this one out and see and feel the pain they are going through.
