STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, August 23, 2023. Today at the Into the Infinite Showcase during Gamescom, Fatshark announced the long-awaited fourth career for Sienna, the Necromancer, will release on Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 19.

Sienna’s Necromancer career is born from a fight with her twin sister, Sofia, granting her new powers and abilities that allow her to raise the dead. How, exactly, these powers were obtained by the once Bright Wizard have yet to be revealed.

“We really wanted to surprise our players with something unexpected yet plausible for Sienna, with a new play style based on Necromancy in the Warhammer Fantasy universe,” said Joakim Setterberg, Lead Game Designer on Vermintide 2.

Since 2018, Vermintide 2 has released five additional adventure map campaigns, two game mode expansions, and currently four new careers, with more content to come in the future.

“Even though we are over five years in, we are very committed to Vermintide 2, our players and our amazing community. Aside from the new career, we are looking into this year’s in-game events, more missions, new ways of playing, and more.”
