“Ahead of her fall tour with Tinashe and Shygirl, UNIIQU3 teams up with The Glitch Mob and Samurai Breaks to get hearts racing on their new collaboration “Body Moves,” out today (September 8th).” As The Glitch Mob says, “this is straight dance floor business.” All three artists draw from their wealth of experience and regional influences – UNIIQU3 from Newark, NJ, TGM from LA, and Samurai Breaks from Leeds – to create a track that melds elements of Jersey Club, Rave, Grime, Bass, and more.
The Glitch Mob says of the collaboration process: “We have been huge fans of both Samurai Breaks and UNIIQU3 for a while now. We’d been trading demos back and forth with Sam and the ‘Body Moves’ demo was the one he chose to collab with us on. We were discussing the possibilities of having a vocalist on the track and we threw out Uniiqu3 as a reference. By chance she was rolling through Los Angeles and hit us up to cook up on the modular. We hope to see you moving to this one.”
“Body Moves” follows UNIIQU3’s track “Shake The Room.” Here the Jersey Club Queen teams up with Bronx Dominican duo Dos Flakos to create a bombastic, bass-thudding track that demands the volume be turned all the way up. Utilizing their Latin Caribbean roots, NY upbringing and love for global sounds, Dos Flakos’ addition to “Shake The Room” bring the track dynamic new heights as UNIIQU3 urges people onto the dance floor rapping, “Shake the block, let’s make it drop, let’s get it going. “
Earlier this summer, UNIIQU3 shared an official remix of Crystal Waters’ 1994 hit single “100% Pure Love” via Island/UMe. The remix celebrates the upcoming 30th anniversary of the track’s release, and the song’s resurgent popularity following it being featured in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 in a lip sync-off between Denali and Kahmora. This collaboration between UNIIQU3 and Crystal Waters also highlights the impact of two New Jersey natives and Black women on dance music, with UNIIQU3 distilling all of the original track’s elements that made it a ’90s dancefloor anthem, while adding a Jersey Club twist.

UNIIQU3’s first release of 2023, “Jersey Club Movie,” is sexy, playful, and addictive, The track allows UNIIQU3 to flex her skills as both a producer and a performer. UNIIQU3 adds about the “Jersey Club Movie” accompanying music video: “I had a blast making this video. I’ve been more intentional about letting my fans not only hear and feel the music but see the vision I had when creating it. I got inspiration from tv shows like Sister, SIster and Family Matters, where I got the idea of having my love interest going from geek to GQ lol. I represent the ladies when it comes to Club Music so I wanted this video to showcase all different types of beauty and bossiness. I also really stepped back into dancing for this video as well and collaborated with Solundy ( Chloe Bailey, Cardi B ) because what is ‘Jersey Club Movie’ without a dance challenge!”
