The Tank Review

The Tank is a film by director Scott Walker starring Luciane Buchanan and Mark Mitchinson. In a film where a young couple finds out the husband’s mother had a home up the coast. Being the only child left alive he is the heir to this property.

Struggling to make it in their pet store and finishing the last year of veterinary school. This may be the break they need to sell it and get ahead. Just Ben’s family is not like most with both his father and sister going missing.  Ben had no idea that his mother who recently passed had this place.

They go and look at this run-down home on the coast and at first, they find a gem of a property. Ben finds a huge underground tank he goes down it to investigate. Jules finds his mother’s diary and starts to uncover what happened in that home. They start to hear things moving as well they see a big tooth animal.

Things start to go south fast as this creature starts to make its presence known. They now find themselves in a fight for their lives. Uncovering some dark secrets of what happened to his father and sister. Overall a good old-school monster film in that we get to see the creature. A solid 7 out of 10 for the creatures not being CGI and looking like they will fuel nightmares. A bit of a drawn-out start to the story of my liking took a long time to get to the action.
