I have been able to play this unique game for a little while now and I wanted to give my final opinion on this game and what type of audience it would mainly be for. I am a variety gamer and I have never come across a game, such as this. I struggled to love the game but grew to see its beautiful story.

As soon as you start the game you are welcomed to our main character named Ella. Growing up she was a up and coming Actress. She decides to travel to the old theater she once preformed at to uncover memories that she once had. Keep in mind this does take place in the 1970’s so things definitely give the feel of a different time.  

I have to give so much respect to the visuals of this game. When you first arrive in the small city where the theater is, you are literally hit by stunning visual effects. The amount of detail that they put into this game is amazing. The grass, to the lighting, and even the way the water from the pond. I thought Ray Tracing was enabled. Come to find out it is not supported with Ray tracing. Maybe in the future they may be an update to add to this beautiful world.  

The game starts when are exploring the empty theater and come across the main stage with a white mask laid out on the table as if it was meant just for her. Once Ella puts on the mask, it is as if she is teleported into the brilliant mind of Mr. Chardish himself and you get see the world as he did.  

Gameplay is pretty straight forward and not hard to figure out at all. But the way you figure out the puzzles were unique in its own way. For an example, the first stage you are introduced to Stage Lights that you are able to move around. The path you need to take is blocked by an object or person. The way you clear the section is figuring out how to place the Stage Light a certain way which in turn makes the object or person disappear. Sometimes it was be a head scratcher but with trial and error you will eventually understand it.  

There is a specific style of art that goes along with this game the whole way through. It something special that does not come along very often. I have never come across a game where I just wanted to just sit and watch the world around me with all the beauty that it provides. The music of the game is something very light hearted. It put me in a relaxing state of mind as I played that kept me calm.  

The Last Show of Mr. Chardish is definitely a game that the creators took the time and effort to make sure that it touched everyone’s hearts. They made sure that everyone can play this game and enjoy themselves. I would say if you are looking for a game that you want to enjoy and just relax too, especially for a graphical sense, I would highly pick up this game. It may be the Last Show but it will always be remembered over and over.
