The King of Reggaeton Don Omar Delivers An Imperial Musical Celebration For Fans In San Antonio

The King of Reggaeton Don Omar Delivers An Imperial Musical Celebration For Fans In San Antonio! Frost Bank Center, which is usually the home of the Spurs, but tonight was home for the King of Reggaeton Don Omar.

We were able to arrive an hour before the doors opened at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. Yes, I know, I like to be pretty early at places I attend. Once there, we got our tickets situated and talked to people in line who were ready to see his majesty. The few people we talked to were very excited to see Don Omar and had a list of songs they would like to hear him perform.

Once inside, I got some Whataburger to eat and found our seats to sit at. After about an hour, the lights dimmed and out came the openers. For the opener, a musician came out to and sang for about two songs. I didn’t catch his name though,  but his music was fire. Then came out the next performer which was DJ Nelson. With multiple songs that I recognized, DJ Nelson got the crowd dancing to some good songs. I had to admit, I had my hands in the air and singing away with the people in my row. (Edit: One of my readers let me know the openers name is Tete Flow. I will be looking more into his music and jamming out as well!)

After we all were good and warmed up from moving our hips to the jams, The King was next to perform. Don Omar graced the stage showcasing his throne to the world. His video introduction showcased his nobility and reign that is fit for a King. Once the arena was filled with exploding fireworks, The King graced us with his presence.

For the next 2 hours, Don Omar descended into his royal musical catalogue for his devoted fans. Fans all over the Frost Bank Center were screaming his lyrics word for word as Don Omar was pleasantly humbled. He would stop a few times during his show to view the thousands upon thousands of fans singing his music with great joy.

Today, my feet are sore for dancing the night away to Don Omar’s hit music. My hips though, feel great as they haven’t moved like that since I was 28. Last night, I was graced by the King of Reggaeton in my city, in my arena, and in my soul. We all felt a connection that night with Don Omar that couldn’t be fully explained.

In my mind there are  a few simple words that I can say: “me gusta bailar!”
