The 2024 Black & Brown Comix Arts Festival Celebrates Its Tenth Year, January 13-15

San Francisco, CA – [January 1, 2024] – The 2024 Black & Brown Comix Arts Festival (BCAF X) marks the tenth year of the nationally awarded comic book event highlighting artists and creators of color. 

BCAF is a program of the NorcalMLK Foundation, and BCAF X is a part of the 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebrations in San Francisco. Executive Director Aaron Grizzell marks the event’s achievements. “BCAF has been a major program that has impacted the wider community and artists alike, and as we celebrate its tenth year, we look forward to many years more.”

With a host of programs, panels, screenings, and our BCAF Expo, there is something for everyone.  This year inaugurates the BCAF Cosplay Soirée, our new cosplay celebration on Saturday, January 13.

Vending and exhibiting space is still available. Artists and creators can get their space today wile supplies last.

BCAF is proudly supported by the San Francisco Arts Commission and is a partnership of the NorcalMLK Foundation, the San Francisco Public Library, and the Cartoon Art Museum.
