Special OPS: Lioness Season 1 Review

Special OPS: Lioness season 1 comes from creator Taylor Sheridan starring  Zoe Saldana and Laysla De Oliveira. Joe (Zoe Saldana) is a CIA operator in charge of a black ops team. In season 1 she brings in a new member Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira) but not before putting her through hell to see if she can handle the pressure. Cruz a soldier who goes above and beyond is in for one hell of a ride.

Joe has to balance her work and home life this season she will be pulled in both directions. Her daughter in her teen years will finally understand her mother a bit more this season but not before bumping heads with her. Cruz will also be put on a deep cover mission and will find out what she made of real fast. They both bump heads and Joe will push Cruz to her limits and break her but make her stronger.

Season one also gives us some side story drama to fill in the episodes within the team and with some of the heads of the agency. Overall a great show from Taylor Sheridan filled with some great intense moments action and drama. Over the eight season one episodes it only grains in the intensity build to the season one finally. I give this one an 8 out of 10 for the action story and another great show from Taylor. Out now on Blu Ray that is filled with a ton of extras and well-streaming Paramount +.
