Ransomed Review

Ransomed Film by the director Kim Seong-hun starring Burn Gorman and Marcin Dorocinski. A high-profile diplomat has been kidnapped and has been held for a few years. The young diplomat is entrusted to get him back. He must take the money to a hostile country to bring him back. Just the plan does not go as planned he is trying to trade a work of art for the cash when it hits the fan. He is told to run out and get in a taxi with the plate number given to him. He doesn’t get into the right one as bullets are flying towards him.

Now he is in the wrong taxi and has no idea what to do he pulls in the taxi driver and by chance, it is a countryman. Now together they are on a mission to get the money into the hands of the right people but not without some drama and setbacks. A wild ride to get the diplomat back and build trust with the taxi driver.

A wild ride of a film the young diplomat was in way over his head. The film was a little long on some of the dialog but made up for it in the drama and action of the mission. A solid 6 out of 10 is a great movie to watch and see how he finishes the mission and brings back the taxi driver putting himself in danger. Out now from Well Go USA Entertainment.
