Band Is Touring As They Ramp Up For Fall Album Release
New York Rockers King Falcon have been gaining momentum throughout 2023 with successful tracks “Cadillac” and “Ready Set Go“- the latter of which Guitar World Magazine called “a ruddy good two-and-a-half-minute rock romp”. Both tracks have received support on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Pandora, as well as Alternative Radio airplay nationally. They are now taking their frenetic live show on the road with new summer and fall tour dates as they ramp up for their self-titled debut album release this fall.
The band says “We are beyond excited to tour and meet everyone, as we’ve been getting great response from the fans through our socials and their support of these latest songs. We’ve been tuning up for this playing local shows in and around NYC – and we wanna show the rest of the country what happens when we bring it. Both ‘Cadillac‘ and ‘Ready Set Go’ were produced by Marshall Altman (Citizen Cope, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Mark Broussard) and mixed by 12-time Grammy-nominated mixing engineer and producer Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons, The Airborne Toxic Event). King Falcon seamlessly blends indie rock sensibilities with a classic rock swagger that is undeniable – with comparisons to The Strokes, The Struts, and Royal Blood. The songs are brimming with earworm-worthy guitar riffage, soaring choruses, and soulful lead vocals.
Michael Rubin (Guitar, Lead Vocals) is the creative driving force behind King Falcon – with the essential extra power of the rhythm section manned by bassist (and spirit animal) James Terranova and drummer Tom Diognardi.
The band has been growing steadily since the release of their funky and infectiously catchy single, “Shake! Shake! Shake!” in 2020. The pandemic cleared King Falcon’s tour calendar – but they made the most of the situation by sending the unreleased song, “When The Party Is Over,” out to labels. The song caught the ear of Mascot Records, and they signed with the label. In 2022 the band released “When The Party Is Over” as the band started ramping up again.
Plans are in the works to release another single & video in late August, with a self-titled full length album slated for October 27th.
