Reggie Fils-Aimé to Deliver PAX West 2023 Keynote Speak

Square Enix, The Pokémon Company, Ubisoft, join the jam-packed weekend
SEATTLE – August 10, 2023 – Show organizers ReedPop and Penny Arcade reveal that former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé will take the stage as this year’s keynote speaker for PAX West, the West Coast’s most-attended gaming event.  A slew of newly announced AAA exhibitors will join Regie at PAX including The Pokémon Company, Ubisoft, Square Enix, and more.
Reggie will take the Main Stage on Friday, September 1, 2023, for a fun and personal keynote speech celebrating his career. Reggie is an award-winning innovator and disrupter most recognized as the former President and Chief Operating Officer of Nintendo of America, the largest division of the Japanese entertainment company Nintendo Co., Ltd.
Since retiring, Reggie has focused his energy cultivating the next generation of business leaders through public speaking, board service and the book, DISRUPTING THE GAME published by HarperCollins Leadership. In addition to his charitable pursuits and passion for education and gaming, Reggie also founded Brentwood Growth Partners to help emerging companies scale and create world-class cultures. Genshin Impact voice actors Brittany Cox (Fischl), Christina Costello (Collei), Kelly Baskin (Amber), Laila Berzins (Xiao), Stephanie Southerland (Jean Gunnhildr) will also join the celebration of games with a special Genshin Impact Q&A and autographing sessions every day of the show.
When attendees need a break from playing the latest demos, a packed schedule of panels awaits featuring a variety of topics from lighthearted discussions about fan-favorite franchises to more vital topics in the gaming industry. PAX Arena also returns with a weekend filled with intense esports tournaments, including Stream Stars with Among Us and Almost Pro with Street Fighter 6. Gaming communities will also come together in free play areas dedicated to tabletop, handhelds, and consoles.
