RAYBEN CONTINUES HER CAPITULOS SERIES WITH THE RELEASE OF CAP 7: BELLAKACOQUETTE

 Iztapalapa, Mexico native Karla Ugarte, also known as Rayben, is keeping her “capítulos” series alive with the release of the it’s seventh installment “Capítulo 7: Bellakacoquette.” Joining forces with El Burger, SMI-LEE, Profeta Yao Yao and Cachirula, this explosive electro-hip-hop track is an upbeat party anthem that explores with electrifying EDM sounds. “Capítulo 7: Bellakacoquette” is now available on all streaming platforms.

In “Capítulo 7: Bellakacoquette” Rayben continues to show her versatility as an artist. Produced and written by Rayben herself, the singer-songwriter, DJ and producer seamlessly fuses the “bellako” style with the latest “coquette” trend. Refusing to put a limit on her creativity, Rayben fuses together a mix of trap, hip-hop and electronic beats making this track unlike any other. The lyrics portray a female who previously embodied the “coquette” lifestyle but has now rebelled her past self, and is embracing the party scene.

The music video, directed by Adan Ornelas fully encapsulates the electrifying feel of this track. Amidst a pink floral ‘coquette’ backdrop the artists find themselves in celebration exchanging drinks as they perform alongside a full DJ booth. Interchanging between a  ‘coquette’ and a street style setup, the music video stays true to the genre’s original essence. Fully embodying the ‘coquette’ look and feel, Rayben is styled in full monochromatic look sporting a purple crop top and mini skirt complete with purple ribbon in her braided hair.

“Capítulo 7: Bellakacoquette,”  joins the lineup of Rayben’s already highly successful “capítulos” series which includes “Capítulo 1: El Loco,” “Capítulo 2: Aluxin,” “Capítulo 3: Niñas,”  “Capítulo 4: El Drift,” “El Pana Dero,” “Capítulo 5: Coronamos” and  “Capítulo 6: El Danzón” thus far. Fresh off her SXSW showcase in Austin, Texas, Rayben is gearing up for her EDC Las Vegas performance where she will take on one of  EDC’s main stages – KineticFIELD, a stage which some of the biggest names in EDM  like Tiesto, Marshmello, Alesso and Calvin Harris have previously graced. With over 1.2M TikTok followers, 197k Instagram followers and 174.9K monthly Spotify listeners Rayben is quickly making a name for herself in the electronic music scene.

Karla Ugarte, also known as Rayben, is a singer-songwriter, DJ and producer from Iztapalapa, Mexico. With the rise of her musical career in 2020, Rayben’s love of music stems all the way back to childhood, when she participated in a mariachi band. Refusing to limit herself to one genre alone, Rayben fuses together a mix of trap, hip-hop and electronic music making her style unlike any other. Inspired by big names like Skrillex, BZRP, Tainy, Arca and Grimes, Rayben is determined to be the next rising star in the EDM world.

Rayben is very hands-on with her project taking creative control with the production of her own music videos and writing the storytelling. She also enjoys experimenting with new fashion pieces for her music videos creating custom fashion pieces with her sister. With hopes of one day owning her own fashion brand, Rayben describes streetwear style as very liberating and enjoys combining pieces to form her own personal style. Through both her music and style, Rayben hopes to inspire fans to do whatever they set their mind to without the fear of being scrutinized by others.

Having recently signed to Wasserman Music and Warner Music Mexico, Rayben is preparing to take her project even further with a lineup of performances and “capítulos” releases stacked up for 2024.
