Work-life stress and a traumatic past plague the sleep of a young woman constantly dreading the evening hours. Stuck in a never-ending nightmare as a defenseless wispy soul, she battles the evil trespassers in her subconscious. To flee this hellscape, she buddies up with her dream self, Honno-chan, to embrace the light and vanquish the evil manifestations.
Work together with Honno-chan to tag-team against evil spirits with a deadly combination of counterattacks. Execute perfectly timed parries to lower enemy guards while Honno-chan swoops in to deal the finishing blow. Defeat waves of enemies to spawn glimmers of light that illuminate the map and guide the duo to the next level.
Dodge slow-moving bullets and fast-moving missiles while chaining together parry combos to build up the Tension meter. Once Tension reaches its peak, execute a Burst attack to swiftly wipe out hordes of hallucinations and gather their light simultaneously. Collect and activate power-ups to craft a custom playstyle, swapping out boosts according to each stage for a strategic advantage.
Troublesome memories like her stressful job, unforgettable adolescent woes, and embarrassing encounters manifest as different levels filled with distinct enemies. Cling to randomly-appearing happy memories (such as favorite foods) that boost attack power and repel foes backwards. Enjoy a jazzy soundtrack paired with a distinct hand-drawn cartoon art style from a first place winner of the GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest hosted by Bandai Namco Studios.
