“Plomo” paints a vivid picture of life on the streets, capturing the harsh realities experienced across cultures. While  Santa Fe Klan showcases his versatility and storytelling prowess, Rich the Kid‘s verse adds an extra layer of intensity, with his sharp delivery and clever wordplay to amplify the song’s impact. “Plomo” is more than just a trap song; it’s an anthem of resilience and survival in the face of adversity. Through their collaboration, Santa Fe Klan and Rich the Kid have created a powerful ode to the streets, one that bridges the gap between different communities and resonates with authenticity and raw emotion.

Directed by Jessy Terrero and produced by George Prajin, the music video for “Plomo” adds another layer of depth to the song’s narrative, taking listeners on a cinematic journey against the vibrant backdrop of Miami. Viewers witness Santa Fe Klan immersing himself in his neighborhood, partying with friends in what seems to be a nostalgic return to a childhood home. Meanwhile, haunting scenes unfold in an old abandoned warehouse, where Santa Fe Klan and Rich the Kid deliver their verses amidst rusty hooks hanging from the ceiling. The video also weaves in a gripping backstory of a deal gone wrong, adding to the gritty realism portrayed in the lyrics.

Santa Fe Klan is fresh off electrifying performances at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin and the Tecate Pa’l Norte music festival in Monterrey, which hosted 180,000 attendees. Taking over international festivals, the face of rap in Mexico made his Coachella debut earlier this month, solidifying his spot as one Mexico’s most prominent artists and announcing his upcoming album “Blanco y Negro” which will dropped soon. Having already dropped a number of powerful albums and collaborations including “Grandes Ligas” with Snoop Dogg, songs featured on the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and “Fast X” soundtracks, and most recently releasing “NO SON KLLE” alongside Peso Pluma and Duki.
