Today, we sat down with Warrior Within guitarist Tass to talk about his start in music, fun stories from the recording studio and much more! Be sure to check out their music below after the interview!

Interview:

How did you get your start in music?

When I (Tass Warrior Within’s Guitarist) was 12, I was hitchhiking with a friend. I found a cassette on the side of the road. I picked it up to take it home to listen to. My friend said it was a rubbish band and to not waste my time.

I took it home and had a listen with my brother Toli. We were totally blown away. It was Iron Maiden’s The Number of The Beast. This was the music we wanted to listen to

What type of music did you listen to while growing up?

Metal and punk from an early age

What are fun stories you can share while you’re in the studio recording music?

When we were recording last Blaze of The Phoenix, we asked Scott to sing some monk like chanting under a guitar melody line. What he thought we meant and what he sung us was totally hilarious, he had us all pissing our pants. We eventually got what the song needed.

What is your latest song or album you can share with us?

We have been releasing a string of singles.
