WWE Draft has been a great way to freshen up both the Raw and Smackdown shows with new wrestlers from another brand. These new wrestlers would be integrated into later shows and sometimes seen as the outsider due to their previous affiliation. This would create some new stories that fans enjoy as they want to see what that superstar can do in that new brand.
On this past Friday’s WWE Smackdown in Corpus Christi, The WWE Draft started with an introduction from WWE’s CCO. Triple H addressed the crowd with the first picks of the WWE Draft. After Triple H’s announcement, there were various of other wrestling legends that came out during the show to announce the picks for either Raw or Smackdown.
Smackdown did have a few matches in between announced superstar drafts such as LA Knight vs Butch, The return of AJ Styles and the OC, and Wrestlemania rematch of The Osos vs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens! We had a fantastic time watching the draft, watching WWE Superstars wrestle, and being part of the WWE live experience.
