Interview:
How did you get your start in music?
We started in 2008 by accident. Vasilis, our guitarist, together with Nikos, our lead singer back then, played in a band together and because of that the stage didn’t last, they decided to form their own band and play covers of bands they liked like AC DC , Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Blackfoot, Allman Brothers. We played several lives and after about 2 years we decided to write our own music!
What type of music did you listen to while growing up?
I was listening to a lot of heavy metal and classic rock. I like the groove very much, so I’ll tell you that my favorite band is ac dc, whenever I listen, I listen and I will listen forever!
What are fun stories you can share while you’re in the studio recording music?
I have many stories from the studio but the best of all and the funniest is when we were in the studio for the recording of the second album and when I was writing a solo, the door opens and a woman so beautiful enters that I lost the solo from the shock and I remember George, our producer, who just looked at me and laughed.
What is your latest song or album you can share with us?
Soundtruck’s latest album is Voodoo. In my opinion, it is quite an interesting album because it combines the groove with the heavy sound but also with many blues elements!
Ιt has 8 songs quite different from each other and this is its characteristic!
the cover is also awesome and of course my favorite part of the disc! all the philosophy and feelings we had at that time are imprinted! Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we don’t have time to tour the album as much as we would like, but we moved forward.
