UTOPIA SCORES US THEATRICAL RIGHTS TO SXSW’S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED NOLAN RYAN DOCUMENTARY “FACING NOLAN”

April 13, 2022 (Los Angeles, CA) – On the heels of a home-state World Premiere at SXSW – and the announcement of a special screening on May 1st at the Texas Rangers Stadium – Utopia has acquired US theatrical rights to the critically acclaimed documentary FACING NOLAN. In a partnership with Fathom Events, FACING NOLAN will premiere in theaters nationwide on May 24th for one night only.

Told from the point of view of the hitters who faced him and the teammates who revered him, FACING NOLAN is the definitive documentary of a Texas legend. In the world of Major League Baseball no one has created a mythology like Nolan Ryan. Directed by Bradley Jackson the film features new interviews with Nolan RyanPresident George W. The one night only special theatrical event will also include an exclusive post-film Q&A with Nolan recorded at the film’s SXSW World Premiere.
