The Witch 2 The Other Ones Review

The Witch 2 The  Other Ones is a film written and directed by Park Hoon-jung starring Cynthia, Min-soo-Jo, and Kim Da-Mi. This one is a sci-fi action film that follows ‘The Girl” a girl that goes from being on a class trip to waking up being hunted by people she does not know. She is unique in a way unlike any other and holds powers she never knew she had. She is found by a woman and brought to her home to rest and try to find out who she is. Not knowing her past and where she came from, they quickly discover what she is hiding.

They are in a family land dispute after her father passed away his brother come to force his will on the land. They are met with the fury of The Girl who makes quick work of the thugs. Not knowing she has multiple teams of people who want her dead or captured on their way for her. As well as the uncle coming back for his revenge and the land. Leading us into one massive fight among all the parties making one great fight scene and uncovering how The Girl is.

The Witch 2 is a solid sci-fi action film overall but it does have some flaws like the lack of more action at the start of the film. The use of flashbacks added to the story but also confused me a few times. The story is a unique one and worked for the film and I give this one a 6.5 out of 10. Overall not a bad film and it does have an English audio option which made it an easy watch for me. The Girl actress Cynthia portrayed The Girl very well and for a role, she didn’t speak for more than half the film she did amazing. In what looks to be her first role as far as I can see from her IMDB page. Check this one out on physical copy and Digital November 8th from Well Go USA Entertainment.
