The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart Blu Ray Review

The Venture Bros. is a series on Adult Swim that chronicles the lives of the Venture Family. The family consists of Hank and Dean as brothers where their father Rusty is a scientist that makes some pretty cool stuff. They have some rough times as a family and even have a sworn enemy with the Monarch. The Venture Bros. was Adult Swim’s longest series on the channel for nearly 20 years before they were cancelled recently. This movie serves as the season finale for the iconic Venture Bros. tv show that has captivated millions and inspired hundreds of shows.

We were able to get a review sample of the Blu Ray of The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart to review. I was able to do an unboxing below on Youtube to show what was inside the Blu Ray Combo. I was able to watch the movie on my Blu Ray player and showcased a high quality movie.

Our Thoughts

I enjoyed the movie as it covered a lot of stories from the series that we wanted to know more about. We learned more about Hank and Dean’s mom even though the woman they thought was their mother wasn’t her. Then, there was a moment with Debra that mentioned something about Rusty that gave the audience an opportunity to put two and two together. I enjoyed how they also go in depth with Rusty and Monarch on how they were there enemies, but in turn had to work together to save each other. They had a genetic test run at the event and looks like Rusty’s father was all over the place with women and Rusty is Monarch’s brother. While all this was happening, ARCH was scheming to destroy the Venture building and everyone in it. ARCH is led by Debra, Monarch’s Ex GF where she started to feud with Dr. Girlfriend, aka Monarch’s wife. The story tread very well in the movie, and I enjoyed how it kept us on our toes while discovering so much in the movie. The movie was able to showcase nearly all the cast of characters from the show including Dr. Orpheus, Phantom Limb, Brock Samson, Dermott Fictel, and few more names I won’t spoil. The movie featured a good story, tied up some loose ends, and gave us another look at The Venture Bros.

Some Perks From Blu Ray

The Blu Ray Combo came with a digital code that you were able to add to either Your Movies anywhere or Vudu accounts. I chose Movies Anywhere as it was easier for my accounts on my Xbox.

Also, got a pretty sweet poster of the cover of the move! I enjoy having small things like this that come with your movie as it gives the viewer something collectable from the series.
