As a horror fan, Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a traditional movie to watch for all horror fans. You must watch the movies and understand the lore to see how powerful this story is for horror in general. Leatherface is our hero in a sense as a villain in a horror movie, due to us cheering him on when he is at work with that chainsaw. So when Gun Interactive took the helm of creating a video game based on Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we had to find out out more.

We talk with Ismael Vicens during the pre launch party for Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Game

After learning more about the game by reading press releases and then playing it during a beta test, we were very intrigued. We were then invited to pre launch party where we experienced the full game with the Gun team and some of horror legends attending the event.

We got our hands on a few keys to review and play get together as a horror team. I got my hands on a Steam key of the game, while the rest of the team got their hands on a PS5 Key and Vic was able to get the game on Xbox Games Pass. We decided to go online and try the game out together. You know we were the Family in the game, yet we fought to be Leatherface. We decided to take turns on being Leatherface so we each person could interact as the legend himself. We found the cross play of the game fantastic as we were able to work together. We had our own chat where we discussed where we thought some of the victims were at in order to gut them to pieces. With different hardware, we didn’t see any difference in cross play. I felt this was more empowering for us as a team to cut up the victims even faster than when we play individually!

A fantastic game that we are for sure going to play some more!
