In The Darkest Tales, you play as Teddy, a grumpy and cynical toy bear, who nevertheless has a kind heart and a strong sense of justice. In order to save his dear owner, Alicia, he’ll have to journey through a world of twisted, nightmarish fairy tales. Join him and find out how his story ends!

Far from a sweet girl visiting her grandmother, Little Red Riding Hood has taken to hunting wolves, and wouldn’t mind taking on a bear, either. Encounter Pinocchio, Jack and his beanstalk, the Little Mermaid, and many more—all turned into bloodthirsty monsters who want to sink their teeth into Teddy’s stuffing!

Explore beautiful yet dangerous lands

The landscape of The Darkest Tales is rich and diverse: you can travel through a foggy forest, climb to the top of a magic bean stalk, have dinner in a mysterious castle in the clouds, dodging gigantic forks and knives, then dive into an ocean, only to find yourself inside the belly of a man-eating whale. The development team have worked hard on each level to make sure you’ll be completely absorbed into the dark, fairy-tale environment.

Use anything you can to fight your enemies

Teddy can use various weapons to fight off the monsters, such as a pair of scissor blades, or a bow and arrow crafted from needles and thread. Throughout the game, our hero will find more weapons and unlock new skills, becoming stronger, faster and tougher.

The Darkest Tales is a beautiful, fairy-tale adventure in a magical yet not-so-whimsical world. Teddy must always stay vigilant among these picturesque landscapes, for evil can take many forms.
