The Childe Film Review

The Childe is a film by director Park Hoon-jung starring Kim Seon-ho and Kang Tae-Ju. It is a film about an up-and-coming boxer who is about to be contacted to meet his real father. He is about to enter a world where he is the youngest son of a wealthy and important man. Just things are not what they seem with this meeting. A deadly game is being played by his older brother and younger half-sister. He is the pawn in his game and his life is on the line his father needs a heart transplant and the father’s will and stepmother are changed.

The oldest brother must keep the father alive to keep his money or if the father dies the stepmother and sister get all the money. So they both hire people to bring the brother in to save the life of their father and one to kill him before that happens. Just there is a third player in the game adding an unseen twist to this game. Not knowing who to trust he called the wrong person finding out more of the story.

A very well-done film filled with action drama and more. I give this one an 8 out of 10 a good story and the hook of action and you start to feel for the brother who is being brought to his death. The twist and the real reason why one of the men sent after him was on his side the whole time. A great watch and really enjoyed this film so be sure to check it out.
