The Change, the Dominican artist best known for her viral hit “Imperio”, presents the visual piece that accompanies this track.
“Imperio”, a song that quickly and organically surpasses 8 million streams across digital platforms, now has an official video clip recorded in Los Angeles, CA and under the direction of Jon Saw. In addition to writing this powerful track, The Change is also credited as the director and editor of the video.
In the midst of breathtaking natural beauty, we see two girls freely expressing their mutual love as The Change performs from the top of a mountain and appears in several shots surrounded by nature.
The scenery of this video complements the message behind this song: A sincere, true and innocent love.
After spending difficult moments of loneliness, The Change decided to find a purpose and transform her life. The idea of becoming a musician became more a lifestyle.
With a simple production and recorded entirely on her cellphone, “Imperio” (The Change’s second single) has captivated audiences around the world.
Recently, the song was selected for Dolce and Gabbana’s 2021 Spring/Summer Collection campaign featuring actor Alejandro Speitzer.
The Change also participated at renowned festival SXSW 2021 where she performed both “Imperio” and “Ojitos”.

About The Change:

Dominican singer-songwriter and producer.

Her stage name “The Change” comes from her last name “Cambiaso.”

She was part of the National Soccer Team in her country (U-17 and U-20).

She studied Television & Film at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, USA.

Her other singles: “Báilame” (her first single in 2018) was inspired by endless party nights and has more than 4.3M streams on Spotify. “Hora Loca” (3rd single) was her first music video as a director and editor and has more than 2.9M of streams on Spotify.

All three of her singles have been recorded entirely from her cell phone.

During 2020, she performed 5 shows in Mexico (CDMX, Cancun, Acapulco, Guadalajara and Mérida).

The Change participated in the SXSW Festival (2021) performing “Imperio” and “Ojitos” (4th single).
