Skilled in close quarters combat, the “Desert Falcon” is driven by the words of Salim, who told him, “You should use such skills to become a shield for those in need.” After Salim’s death, his sister, Zarif, put Shaheen on a different path, handing him the treasured blade of her dead brother and telling him, “I want you to finish what my brother could not.”
