Strays Film Review

Strays is an off-the-wall film about a dog that will find out life is better with real friends—directed by Josh Greenbaum and starring Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, and Isla Fisher. Reggie is a dog with a let’s say a not so-great owner. Who is about to do the worst thing a dog owner can do abandon his dog. Just Reggie loves Doug so much he finds his way back thinking this a game until Doug drops him off far away.

Reggie is left in a city hours away from home he will find out the hard truth of what Doug is doing to him. He will meet some new friends who will show him what love and friendship are. Bug will take him under his wing and introduce him to new friends. Reggie is hell-bent now to go back but not see Doug again and to bite off what he loves the most. Embarking on a grand journey back to Doug but this will be no easy task. A long adventure they will face together making a lifelong bond with each other.

A great dog film is an understatement this one is not for the easily offended. A ranchy laugh-fest with Will and Jamie killing it with the comedy and Isla and the rest of the cast added more off-the-wall humor. I give this one an 8 out of 10 a ranchy funny time. The way Jamie and Will bring Reggie and Bug to life is unreal and done like only they could.
