Former tinyBuild and Adult Swim Games vets shake up a classic genre in Steam Early Access
GLOBAL – August 15, 2023 – Dive into an immersive world of automation and strategy as Desynced, the brainchild of Forklift Interactive and Stage Games, premieres on Windows PC through Steam Early Access today.
Your ship is stranded in orbit around an unknown world. Tasked with gathering resources from below, players can customize drones and buildings to create a modular, flexible base to mine, process raw materials, manufacture technology, and repair their damaged spacecraft.
In Desynced, actions like mining, scanning for resources, or generating solar power are performed by modules. Any module that can be installed in a drone can also be installed in a building. Construct mobile miners or build stationary mining platforms. Create a wind farm high on a plateau, or equip a drone to distribute power to any drone or building around it. In Desynced, every problem has more than one solution.
Whether you’re a solo adventurer or prefer co-op gameplay, Desynced challenges you to construct, fortify, and defend a dynamic base. Drones complete many tasks automatically, but optional behavior programming allows players to create custom solutions and maximize efficiency. Create with friends, or play as opposing factions until only one player remains.
As they expand, players will discover ruins and explorables, extracting resources and uncovering the history of their new home. With an expansive tech tree, players can venture into new areas, known as “the blight”, making groundbreaking scientific discoveries and enhancing their base capabilities.
