Stefficrown, the singer-songwriter known as the ‘Queen of Colombian Trap,’ dazzles with her song ‘Pr0bl3mb01’ (Problem Boy or Chico Problema), produced by @nicoenelbeat and @alexander_dj, in Netflix’s new #1 Trending series called ‘Fake Profile.’

The song features 90s mixtape and RnB influences, with hints of trap in the vocal style and percussion. It is heard in the most intense scene of the first episode and is repeated several times throughout the story, as its lyrics are closely related to the events.

This song was lyrically and melodically composed by Stephania Ayiotou (Stefficrown), a Colombian and Greek artist who has made a significant impact on the independent path of Colombian and now global music. She is a young entrepreneur who gained early recognition in the world of cinema (Cannes Film Festival) and fashion (Golden Globes).

Her journey in music began in 2018, and despite her short time in the industry, that same year she was considered for a Latin GRAMMY for her single ‘Más Cold’ (produced by EMGbeatz, a young Colombian producer associated with Bad Bunny). She then toured the United States and Europe, bringing her concept of Latin trap and tropical RnB propelled by 3WK, the movement she created in Cali. In 2019, she released her first album, 3WK Vol.1 (3d World Kings/Reyes del Tercer Mundo), recounting her story of emerging from the underground scene.

In November, she gave us a preview of what would come this year with a London-style drill called ‘Young G’ (produced by Platinum producer @maneaux.nl). This song is an expression of how a ‘G’ can connect the dots of the world and create powerful music through respect and the bonds formed in street trap music and culture, based on loyalty and mutual support. She then released an incredible Afrobeat-style song called ‘DAM WAY’ (Amsterdam Way), produced by @shynetheprod and @maneaux.nl, followed by a dembow song called ‘Giles’ (produced by @izzylemodo), with an impressive video filmed in the Chocó jungle. By honoring the African roots of the Chocó communities, Stefficrown wanted to express a highly representative story of a world where if you don’t defend yourself and build your own future, no one else will. All these recordings were made at Cruise Control Studios in Amsterdam, in collaboration with producers from Sony Netherlands, under her 3WK label.

Stefficrown has repeatedly shown that she is an artist without limits, expressing her multiculturalism in an innovative and ever-evolving manner. Her music is a sincere expression of her life.

SC is evolving and will surprise us throughout this year with powerful releases and collaborations under the label Mercado Negro.
