Bud Spencer and Terence Hill are back for their next video game together titled Slaps and Beans 2! This hilarious beat up game is ready to throwdown like it was 1983 all over again. Slaps and Beans 2 is available now on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation.
I was able to get a review copy of Slaps and Beans 2 for my Xbox Series S console. I was able to download the game quite quickly to my console and have it set up ready to play.
Our Thoughts
Pro:
- Story
- I enjoyed the story as it reminded me of a high quality script for a movie that you would watch at the movie theaters. Terence and Bud are lost at sea on a makeshift boat, and low and behold they find land. Once they get to land, they wonder around until they meet up with a gentlemen with a bus full of children. Then some evil characters get in their face and all hell breaks loose! Terence and Bud fight them off to make sure they don’t steal from the nice people they have met. While thinking more of this, the story reminds me of an 80’s action movie that will rock your socks off!
- Fighting
- I like a good beat them up type game. Slaps and Beans 2 doesn’t fail at that as your tossing around bad guys and beating them senseless. Your also able to find items on the floor and use that as weapons against the bad guys. Anything can be a weapon, even various items like fry pans!
Con:
- Puzzles can be challenging
- There are some parts in the game where I got confused on what I’m suppose to do. For example: I didn’t realize I would need Bud to do one thing in order for Terence to be able to follow me. I had to look into what I must do in order for go through that specific puzzle.
