SEATTLE, WA, June 8th – In collaboration with experienced Roblox development studio Amber, publisher tinyBuild and Secret Neighbor developers Hologryph are thrilled to unveil their latest secret project in the Hello Neighbor franchise: Secret Neighbor is coming to Roblox today as a fully featured multiplayer experience, free for all to jump in and enjoy right now on PC and Mobile systems, with an Xbox version available soon.
The Secret Neighbor experience recreates the cult asymmetrical multiplayer game for a fresh audience. Six kids set out to explore the spookiest places in the town of Raven Brooks by night, but one of them is secretly the villainous Mr. Peterson in disguise. Will the kids crack the case, or vanish overnight? Get your first look at the thrills and chills to come in the gameplay trailer below!
In Secret Neighbor’s main game mode, up to six players team up to explore one of 5 twisted maps, find the keys to the exit and escape using each of the six kid’s special class abilities to outwit, evade and exploit every opportunity for victory. Little do they know that one of their own has been randomly chosen to play as the cunningly disguised Mr. Peterson in one of three unhinged forms; the Neighbor, the Butcher or the Clown – honk if you love floppy shoes!
It’s not all sneaking and evasion, either. Get that party game spirit going in Brawl mode – a collection of free-for-all and team-based multiplayer challenges. Be the last kid standing in a pop-gun standoff, snowball fight or a sneaky Prop Hunt. Thought it was impressive when Mr. Peterson disguised himself as a kid? Try being a chair for a change of pace. It’s all good knockabout fun, and with all Brawl modes playable across every map, there’s almost limitless fun and challenge to be had.
Once the action is over, users can unwind, connect, socialise and chat in the Secret Neighbor experience hub. In this immersive, explorable lobby space, players can meet, goof around and easily organize games in any of the available modes. Hello Neighbor fans might also want to explore the area, as there’s plenty of easter eggs and references to the rest of the franchise to discover!
The hub is also the perfect environment to showcase the exclusive Hello Neighbor cosmetics now available from the Roblox store. Dress for suspense, and bring a little bit of that Raven Brooks charm with you wherever you go.
