SANTA FE KLAN REPRESENTS MEXICO WITH PRIDE DURING TWO ICONIC WEEKENDS AT HIS COACHELLA MAINSTAGE DEBUT

Coachella, CA (April 22, 2024) – This past weekend, Santa Fe Klan dominated two weekends of the world-famous Coachella Festival, inclusive of 45-minutes of his top hits and representing Mexico with immense pride. The fans showed up in bulk, donning their Mexican flags and memorabilia, Santa Fe Klan merch and proving why Mexican music deserves a place at Coachella.

During weekend one, Santa Fe Klan‘s set began with his hits “Cuidando El Territorio,” “Silencio en el Callejón,” “Cypher,” “Mi Vicio,” “Soledad,” “Luna y Mar” and “Todo Va Estar Bien,” demonstrating his unreal abilities to flow seamlessly from rap to hip hop to cumbia, where he also plays the accordion and gets the crowds dancing. During “Te Iré a Buscar” he brought out his first special guest, Colombian rapper Nanpa Básico. He continued with “Mar y Tierra,” “Debo Entender,” and his classic “Asi Soy” in which he really gets the crowd hype, active and jumping. During “Un Dia Todo Se Termina,” he welcomed his second surprise guest and fellow 473 Music artist Tornillo, followed by “Grandes Ligas,” his 2021 collaboration with Snoop Dogg, B-Real, Aleman and Lupillo Rivera. Santa Fe Klan closed out his set with fan-favorite “Por Mi México.”

Santa Fe Klan also made a surprise appearance during fellow Prajin Parlay Inc. artist Peso Pluma‘s iconic Coachella debut on April 12, joining him on stage to perform their collaboration “NO SON KLLE.” 

Kicking off weekend two, with a slightly adjusted setlist, Santa Fe Klan again opened with “Cuidando El Territorio,” “Silencio en el Callejón” and “Cypher,” but then added in his Peso Pluma and Duki collaboration “NO SON KLLE.” He continued with his hit “Soledad” and threw in another surprise addition singing his Los Angeles Azules and Cazzu collaboration “Tu y Tu,” which garnered him his first number one on the Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay chart. Santa Fe Klan continued with “Todo Va Estar Bien,” “Te Iré A Buscar,” “Mar y Tierra,” “Debo Entender,” and crowd-pleaser “Asi Soy” which once again got the fans ignited. Continuing with this week’s new addition “Desde Cero,” he also stunned guests by introducing his surprise guest Alemán who joined him on stage for “Grandes Ligas.” Rounding out his weekend two Coachella debut, Santa Fe Klan closed out his set with immense pride with “Por Mi México.”

The crowds showed up in bulk over both weekends of Coachella to show their support for the current face of rap in Mexico, Santa Fe Klan. The singer-songwriter, rapper and musician didn’t disappoint, delivering two setlists full of creativity, energy and enthusiasm and showcasing his versatility by fusing a multitude of genres and displaying his self-taught and incredible accordion playing talents. Inclusive of breakdancers and a band, Santa Fe Klan proved why Mexican artists deserve to have a place at Coachella.

His 2022 album “Mundo” landed Santa Fe Klan on the Billboard Charts for the first time at number four on the Latin Pop Album chart. He went on to win the Premios Juventud for La Nueva Generación Regional Mexicano (Nuevo Artista en el Género Regional Mexicano) and was named GQ Mexico’s Hombre Del Ano (Man of the Year) that same year. In 2023, he dropped his album “Todo,” received two nominations at Premio Lo Nuestro, and completed a 40+ city SOLD OUT tour in the United States. He is currently gearing up to release his upcoming album this summer and will be announcing his next tour in the coming weeks.
