You can always count on Sam DeRosa to write the most relatable and heartbreakingly beautiful songs about life and love – and on “The Good Parts” she does just that. Following her most recent singles released on the EP “Friends With My Exes” with Joel Adams, “All The Time” and “The Good Parts“, the EP explores Sam working through her past, feeling all of those emotions, and healing. Alongside the EP comes the official music video for “After The Tears Dry”, which premiered via Rolling Stone and was filmed, edited, and directed by Eddie Core at LADB Media. Watch HERE. From growing up in a musical family, to singing at county fairs as a child, to writing and releasing her own songs and penning for other artists – Sam DeRosa was destined to be a star from the very beginning. She graduated from Berklee College of Music and in her first official co-writing session she wrote the hit “Broken” for the group lovelytheband in 2017, which broke the Alternative Songs longevity record by becoming the longest-running song in the chart’s three decade history. DeRosa also competed on the show Songland, where she saw massive success for her song “Pill For This” further proving mainstream success as a deeply personal songwriter. The acoustic version of “Pill For This” premiered on Billboard.

2020 saw the release of Sam’s first body of work, The Medicine EP, and she also gave one of the most-followed people in the world a hand with her own entrance into music. Alongside writers Billy Mann, Christian Medice and Joe Kirkland, DeRosa helped pen Dixie D’Amelio’s debut song, “Be Happy,” a pop song with the unexpectedly melancholy premise of letting yourself feel sad, which broke a million TikTok views just hours after its release.

As Sam continues to write and release her own music, it’s clear the only way is up from here. Stay tuned for much more!
