Ricos Products Announces its ‘Vote for Ricos’ Fictional Campaign

SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 19, 2024) – Today, Ricos Products is announcing the “Vote for Rico” campaign that will bring cheesy smiles to nacho fans. This campaign is a fictional political campaign created to offer Ricos fans an entertaining experience that will make them smile throughout 2024. On this Presidents Day, and during this 115th anniversary year of Liberto Specialty Co., Rico is formally announcing his candidacy for the Head of Cheesy Affairs!

“Our nacho cheese mascot, Rico, is ready to remind everyone that all are welcome to enjoy Ricos nachos and to inspire moments of togetherness with family and friends, ” said President and CEO Tony Liberto. “We stand behind Rico as he shares his efforts to bring forward Ricos nachos across our communities!”

Through the “Vote for Rico” campaign, Ricos hopes to increase awareness of their brand and offering of retail and concession products while delighting fans in a timely, unifying way.

Ricos will activate the “Vote for Rico” campaign throughout the 2024 calendar year in San Antonio, Austin, and Houston communities. Plans for the campaign include Ricos-hosted family-friendly public events, exciting collaborations with area businesses, creators and influencers, and the launch of the all-new Ricos food trailer.
