‘”Not Petty” is about remembering to value yourself above people who are actively hurting you, regardless if you love them or not. Sometimes you have to be “selfish” and put yourself first and that is okay. I wrote Not Petty to remind myself that I can always turn a bad situation into a lesson. The lesson here is to never forget who you are. You were whole and beautiful before that person and you will continue to be so after that person leaves your life.”

Growing up on the shores of Long Island, New York, Xondra hails from a rich cultural blend of Cuban/Puerto Rican and Irish roots. From early on, a fiery passion for songwriting ignited within them, sitting by the radio, fervently noting down cherished lyrics, which they masterfully wove into their very own compositions.
During their formative years, Xondra fearlessly took to the stage, gracing bars and venues across New York with her original creations. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and growth in contemporary songwriting, Xondra embraced higher education, setting the stage for her artistic journey to unfold. Melding Pop, Rock, R&B, and Indie influences, Xondra’s musical style encompasses a captivating diversity.
