From writer Kate Sargeant (“Castle,” “Blindspot”) comes comedy series VIRTUALLY SINGLE about a newly divorced single mom dipping her toe in the treacherous online dating pool for the first time in a decade. Beyond the hilarity and ridiculousness of having first dates on video chat, the show is about a woman’s journey to reclaim and reinvent herself so that she can become the one, to find the one, in order to keep the one.
Uniquely, this nine-episode digital series includes both scripted and unscripted elements. Sargeant wrote, produced and starred in the series from her home, employing friends and colleagues during a time when the majority of the entertainment industry was shut down.
While filming VIRTUALLY SINGLE, Sargeant utilized clips from her real-life relationship coaching sessions with Intimacy Expert Allana Pratt, conversations with her actual family, and some of her genuine romantic connections. It is truly a rom com for our current times.
