ICYMI – Bandai Namco Entertainment America unveiled at Anime Expo a new Story Mode trailer for NARUTO x BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTION which features an original story designed exclusively for the game and two original characters, Nanashi and Merz.

The story takes place during the events of BORUTO, when the Ninja World is at peace again with Naruto as Hokage. Boruto discovers a popular online game, “Ninja Heroes,” and meets Nanashi, a navigator from the game. Meanwhile, something unusual was happening in the real world and the Fifth Great Ninja War was about to break out. While the Ninja World was plunged into chaos, Boruto realized a mysterious man, Merz, was trying to initiate the war.
