Mireya Ramos has just announced her upcoming performance at the historic Lincoln Center. The founding voice and violinist for Flor de Toloache, currently on tour, will be officially presenting her debut album, titled “Mireya“, at the David Rubenstein Atrium of the famous aforementioned NY venue, on December 7th.

Recently nominated for her first Latin Grammy award as a solo artist, Mireya shared the stage with the talented Adrián Quesada from Black Pumas during his solo performance at the Austin City Limits festival. Together, they performed “Tus Tormentas“, song in which Mireya was featured on the producer’s successful album, “Boleros Psicodélicos”.

“Mireya Ramos’ soulful, belting vocals and violin playing grabbed the spotlight on “Tus Tormentas” early on.” – The Austin Chronicle

“Quesada brought on Mireya Ramos, the leader of New York’s all-female mariachi Flor de Toloache, for the first song from Boleros Psicodélicos: “Tus Tormentas,” a ballad with a laidback hip-hop backbeat and spectacular singing and violin from Ramos.”

– Austin City Limits TV

During the pandemic, Mireya decided to take a step forward towards her solo career by releasing her self-titled debut album, which has twelve songs that are divided between English and Spanish. With remarkable guests such as Adrián Quesada (Black Pumas), Camilo Lara, Gaby Moreno, Haydée Milanés, Sonia Montez, Velcro, Leo Genovese, Jonathan Suazo, David B, Mike Garson, Román Rojas, Jorge Glem and her beloved Flor de Toloache, Mireya has as her essence the great artistic and cultural experiences that she has been able to experience throughout her career, which include tours all over the world and important collaborations. And it was precisely with these last three that she achieved her first nomination as a soloist for the twenty-third annual edition of the Latin Grammy®, an award to which she had previously been nominated and which she had won as part of the female mariachi ensemble that she founded and integrates, Flor de Toloache. “Nunca Te Voy a Olvidar” is nominated in the category “Best Regional Canción”
