MINTROCKET today confirmed the official name of the studio’s next project, “NAKWON: LAST PARADISE,” with a brand-new teaser video to give players an early look at the tense stealth survival title.
“NAKWON” is a new project from MINTROCKET, which most recently introduced “”DAVE THE DIVER” to the acclaim and enjoyment of players and media worldwide. “NAKWON” is an ambitious zombie apocalypse stealth-survival game, set in Seoul, in which players must use their wits to avoid detection, loot items, and escape to survive. “NAKWON” is a PvPvE game for up to 16 players, and is planned for release on PC.
The sub-title “LAST PARADISE” holds a profound meaning, signifying that ‘Yeouido’ is a restricted Quarantine Zone, where Survivors are gathered to evade Zombies—it’s the last region where hope of survival remains. The teaser video featuring actual gameplay from an early game build showcases various ways to survive in Seoul, a city filled with tension and silence.
“We wanted to make a real survival game where you have to hide, run away, eat, and survive in a world where Zombies hunt Humans, rather than the other way around,” said Game Director Jang Kyoung Han. “The game’s development started less than a year ago, but getting community feedback is going to be very important to us, and so we’d like to start sharing information early and openly.
