Miles Wesley Enlists Sommer Ray For “Neighborhood” Music Video

December 16th, 2020 (Los Angeles, CA)—Texas-born pop singer-songwriter Miles Wesley unveils the music video for his single Neighborhood today directed by Dan Drachman. Social media influencer Sommer Ray stars in the playfully rebellious video alongside the boastful singer. The song blends rap and trap influences with the singer’s pop-based voice for the proclamation that he’s finally made “it out the neighborhood.”

About the song, Miles said, “’Neighborhood’ is a song about growth and also indulges in a little bit of an I told you so vibe. Although I believe saying I told you so is an immodest thing, we’re only human and it feels good sometimes to boast. The song was produced by my good friend Diamond Pistols who came in after and put the final touches that really brought it all together.”
Upon release, the single landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday and In My Feelings playlists, as well as Apple’s New In Pop and Shazam’s Best New Music. Additionally, the lyric video for the track (HERE) has received over 156k views in just over a month.
The release of “Neighborhood” follows Miles’ 2019 hit single “Lil Mama,” which featured fellow Texas-raised and LA-based singer Trevor Daniel. Currently, the song has accumulated over 11 million streams on Spotify and peaked #34 on the Hip-Hop iTunes chart in New Zealand, #24 on the Hip-Hop iTunes Charts in Brazil and Sweden, #17 on the Hip-Hop iTunes Charts in Malaysia. The song also peaked #41 in Spotify Viral 50 Daily Chart in Norway.
