Fusing contemporary production with a 90s inspired, R&B flair, UK based artist Lois Rae creates music that is
“polished and provocative”. Following the release of pounding pop hits “BADDIE” and “THAT’S ME”, Lois
returns with the sensual new cut “MIND” – co-written and produced by 7Wallace/UMPG published producer
Manon Dave (Che Lingo, will.i.am).

Teaming up with East London rapper Wynts, “MIND” is full of glossy synths and stuttering drum patterns –
“sometimes we just want that physical connection with a person, and that's the thing that keeps drawing us
back in. ‘MIND’ is all about the feeling of desire, sometimes to the point of obsession”, Lois offers.

Growing up a keen and gifted musician, Lois soon took to writing her own pop songs – inspired by musical
greats such as Aaliyah, Sade and the 90s hip hop and R&B scene. She has since developed a fresh, yet
nostalgic sound that combines booming 808s, fluid orchestral arrangements and trap-influenced drums with
her honeyed, diverse vocals.

With more tracks soon to follow, Lois has garnered support from LOCK Magazine, Made In Shoreditch, BBC
1XTRA (Sian Anderson, Ace), BBC Introducing and the BBC Asian Network for her polished soundscapes.
Priding herself on creating diverse, contemporary pop anthems, “MIND” is further indication of an artist on the
rise.
