Bursting onto the scene, Montreal native Kid Riz is an artist that oozes talent and style. His latest song ‘Bad
Boys Cry’ is an intimate tale of emotional fragility.

Teaming up with two of the industries most prolific producers Baby Got Beatz (B Young, Phora) & Made By
Blackburn (Teyana Taylor, Trippie Redd), Kid Riz’s vocal stylings flow effortlessly throughout the track. He
utilises his vocal to create music that commands the listeners attention and ignites an emotional fire in the
listeners mind. An acoustic guitar sets the backdrop with a delicate riff that plays the duration, really allowing
Kid Riz’s lyrics take centre stage and be the commanding force in a finely polished tune.

Speaking to the song and it’s creation Kid Riz explains, “It’s Ed Sheeran meets Kid Laroi, a ballad for the
Gen Z”

Growing up in Montreal Kid Riz has been set on a musical course from day one, coming from a family
of musicians. He started to find his sound and develop a knack for production as well as singing
around the age of 14. Realizing his dream at an early age he decided to take a break between high
school and college to focus primarily on his musical career.

He has already made a big name for himself in the industry, proving himself to be one of the fiercest
up and coming talents. Garnering support slots for artists such as Rich Da Kid and Flip Dinero. He
was also invited to Montreal’s biggest hip hop festival Metro Metro which was unfortunately
cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
